YOUR FILES. YOUR ACCOUNTS. YOUR PEACE OF MIND.
Help when data is lost. Practical protection for what comes next.
Important documents, family photos or business files missing? A damaged USB stick or a drive your computer no longer recognises? Tell us what happened and which files matter most. We’ll discuss assessment and suitable recovery options.
HDDs that are not recognised, show errors or contain missing files. Physical faults and mechanical damage may need specialist recovery; we discuss the next step before work proceeds.
SSDs & laptop storage
Failed, corrupted or inaccessible SSDs and storage from a computer that no longer starts. Recovery depends on the controller, encryption and the condition of the memory.
SD & microSD memory cards
Missing photographs, corrupted cards, accidental deletion and cards asking to be formatted. Stop using the card to avoid overwriting recoverable files.
Damaged USB memory sticks
Broken plugs, loose connectors and damaged USB sticks can be assessed for connector or soldering repairs aimed at accessing the files. Repairability depends on the damage; restoring access does not make the stick suitable for continued use.
Deleted files & accidental formatting
Tell us when the loss happened and whether the device has been used since. Deleted data may already have been overwritten, and SSD behaviour can make recovery impossible.
Files from an old computer
If the old machine no longer works but its drive is readable, a file transfer may be enough. We can discuss transferring the files to your replacement computer.
Recovery is not guaranteed. Assessment, recovery work and any specialist involvement are agreed separately; they are not included in the standard £78 transfer/setup service.
If the files matter, pause before trying more fixes.
Stop using the affected drive or memory card. Don’t format it, run repair tools or save recovered files back onto it. If a drive clicks, has been dropped or repeatedly disconnects, switch it off and seek advice. Keep the original device and tell us about any encryption—don’t send passwords or recovery keys through the website.
Cybersecurity & internet security.
Protection works best as a combination of updated devices, safer accounts, appropriate security software and usable backups. We can help you understand the options for your home computer or business.
Antivirus / internet security packages
£69.60 including VAT (£58 + VAT). Ask us to confirm the product, licence duration, number of devices and renewal terms before purchase. The features included depend on the chosen package.
Malware & unwanted software
Ask about suspicious pop-ups, browser changes, unwanted applications and suspected infections. Cleaning an infected computer is a separate service from buying a security licence.
Accounts & safer sign-ins
Discuss strong, unique passwords, password managers and multi-factor authentication. Account recovery and changes may require you to be present and prove ownership.
Updates, device & network settings
Ask about supported software, security updates, firewall settings and Wi-Fi protection. Business requirements can be discussed through our Business Support service.
Backup & restore planning
Protect copies of important files and discuss how you would restore them. A clone or a single attached drive should not be your only protection against loss.
Scams & suspicious messages
If you’re unsure about a message, unexpected remote-access request or warning on screen, stop and ask. Software cannot prevent every scam; knowing what to question matters too.
No security package can promise complete protection. We’ll help you choose appropriate software and practical habits without claiming that one purchase solves every risk.
